Injectors balanced....car runs hot now?????

I finally got the injectors balanced and cleaned, but I questioned the cleaning when I picked them up. I run WVO and they were covered with it and the tips of the injectors still had black carbon build up around the nozzle tips, not on the tips but on the injectors that the heat sheilds did not catch. Anyway, I put them in with new sheilds and the car did not seem to have as much power. I drove it for three days and the third day, coming home at highway speed, 75, I see that the car is at 100c. After I exited and drove at 55 to 45 mph it did not come down. I also have a diesel knock now when the car is cold.
I also should add that I did a valve adjustment at the time I put in the new injectors. I know that I adjusted them a little loose. I have not adjusted the pump, but I may play with that next.
Any ideas here as to the high temp.?

With no change between highway speeds and street, I believe it is just a coincidence for the new injectors and hi temps. Sounds to me of a thermostat hanging up. Real easy to check in a pan of hot water with a thermometer.

100c is hot? My 240d always sits at about 110C after it gets up to speed, city or highway, unless I have the A/C off in which it sits around 100C.

*adds another item to list to fix*

Come to think of it..........

before you tear into something. If you were working on injectors, you were in the area of the temp. sensor. It might be just a loose connection at the sensor.;)
