W126 Oil Cooler Lines...Replaced

Thanks to the great information available on this forum and dieselgiant.com pictorals, I was able to replace the original oil cooler lines on my 82 300SD today. It was a real PITA and an oily mess, but I did it.

This is a job still on my list.

Where did you get your hoses? Dealer, Fastlane, Diesel Giant?

The following on-line source offers decent prices from what I have seen.

FYI, make sure you you remove the two 8mm bottom engine mount bolts and lift the engine or you will struggle more than necessary. I had seen some posts where folks had said it was not necessary. It is necessary and to make the job much easier. The dieselgiant.com instructions are very good.

Thumbs up

I pulled that motor mount, made the job a snap. I recommend that route 100% to everyone.
