My vogtland springs are in, here are some pics.

I can't thank Tom enough for all the help, tools and the lift! The lean in the pictures is due to the picture taker. These were all taken on Sat. Sunday we installed 2nubs in the rear and lifted the car about 3/4 inches.

looks very nice- and as if the car should be that way in the first place. I especially like the rear. I wish someone with a wagon had pics to show

No problem Winmutt. I had a good time doing it.

My springs are in too. We finished Winutts sat and did mine on sunday. The difference in handeling is Great!!! It is a good upgrade. Im hoping Winmutt will post the pictues of my car too, as I dont quite have that part figured out.
After we finished the springs we headed out to fine a red light and see which car had better acceleration, Toms 82 300D(auto) or Winmutts 85 300D (manual). One of use got got our A** Whipped!!! But Im not going to say which one. hahaha TOO MUCH FUN!! Tom 82 300D

That looks very nice. A bit lower but nothing extreme.

Looks very nice. Wheels are sharp and the springs are just enough to be noticed by someone who knows what to look for.

Nicely done.

For anyone else, I would recommend this as well. Car sits just a little too low for me, but I have other tasks at hand (the rest of the front end).

Its been a few days.

Front end needs to be finished on the rebuild and it needs to go in for an alignment but here are my thoughts :

ZOMG!

LOL. It is certainly to low to be a curb hopper BUT the ability to take speed humps at speed is still there and speed bumps are no issue (other than hardness from springs).

Cornering (especially slalom) at speed is massively improved, mostly due to lack of body roll.

It is a bit bouncier of a ride, specifically in the rear, I am thinking about putting comforts back there to soften things up a bit.

One of the other things I really like is that the lowend torque is now directly turned into go power instead settling the rear end and being absorbed in the suspension.

i hear from local shops that these front springs are a really pain to get at, how hard were they compared to the backs?
