Fuel tank capacity

Good morning all.
Can anyone tell me what is the fuel tank capacity on a 1983 300D 123.
Is it the same as a 1983 300SD 126?

I have a 1982 240d which is W123 - I think the capacity is 16 gal 2 of which is reserve. But it could be 14 gals. I know that I've never had to fill up more than 14 gal in it.

The 300D should be a 21 gallon tank. I have put 19 in mine once.

My '82 had a capacity of approx. 21.1 gallons, includes a 2.8 gallon reserve. My '83 SD has a 20.3 gallon tank, with a 3.3 gallon reserve.
