Replacing Glow Plugs: Do I really need the relay?
I'm going to be replacing my GP's in the near future. Do I really need the relay? Or should I just get a fuse replacement (if available). Thnaks!

Matt;
Since you live near the Sea of Complacency, you probably take your time to do most anything. But since the fuse strip sells for about a buck, if that is all that is wrong with the relay, I'd replace it.

There's nothing really wrong with it, I just wasn't sure if it was a good idea for PM.

No
Not for PM. Unless you can see a crack in it, it will last as long as a new one. I think it is smart to keep one in a fuse box. You can never tell when it will go.
