87 300sdl highway problem
Ok. As I am traveling about 65 on the turnpike and try to speed up, the turbo kicks in and rpm's go up.... but my speed does not increase... if it does it's sooo slow. so i let of the pedal a bit and it shifts, rpm's drop and can accelerate very slowly still... I put it in cruise control and use the accelerate feature and it accelerates fast! I mean 10x faster than my pedal! So yea…
Is it my tanny? Do I need to change my oil and air filter? Do I need to clean my vacuums and hoses all throughout my engine? Or is my best bet to take it in a MB shop? Thanks for the responses.

I'd check my tranny fluid level ASAP. It has got to be a tranny/torque converter issue.

Your pedal isn't moving the lever on the IP to the full-throttle position. Check the linkages.
