Fortunately, it took quite a bit of time before somebody fell for it. It's been re-listed several times.

I'd like to see what they did to spend $11,000 on an engine rebuild.

W123...Better investment than the stock market!

Wow, makes you wonder what someone would pay for a "nice" car.

that "hawaiian" dollar must be a different value. the hawaii to arkansas conversion must have done it.

My bet is it will be relisted again. Alot of buy-it-now bids are scammers looking for personal info.

I can't imagine anyone would buy that car for more than $500 based on those pictures.
I can't imagine the seller wouldn't have taken some better pictures by now - at least a non-blurry shot of the engine with the pine straw picked out!

Really! Running a leaf blower over the engine would have greatly improved it's appearance.

"Caveat emptor" has a greatly-expanded scope with the advent of the Internet and services like E Bay. Anymore it's not just your money theives want. They're after your name, address, E Mail, and anything else they can get!

buying cars on ebay seems a lot like internet dating. everyone hopes to get a model- but 99% are pigs. that car is the equivalent of hooking up with a serial killer...

i might look at an ebay car if it was close by- might.
