Average MPG since April is 30.72. Almost all highway and mostly above the legal limit by at least 5 MPH. Would it improve if I had a cruse control?

First long trip:
Drove to Fayetteville, TN from Memphis on Friday via I-40 then TN-50 then I-65 then US-64. Today, drove back to Memphis via US-64, I-65 South to 20 to Decauter then US-70 to Collierville, then 385 to I-240 to I-40 to home. 509 miles on 21.147 gallons = 24mpg; had AC on some. I think I can do better --- have to research what a "stuck" injector effect is --- car would run very rough for a while after being pushed hard.

My car, British Imperial, 65 litre tank:
There was easily another 20 miles in it, and it wasn't all motorway (highway) driving either. Quite impressive I thought. |
