Talking One thirty Woot!

Heya all,

I got the freaken thing started. Here was the issue, new primer pump help diagnose the real problem. I waited for the battery to charge, and the thing still wasn't sounding like it was getting fuel, so I pumped the primer like 100 times and I thought I heard the injector hissing like the owners manual says it should. However, it was the fuel filter seal, I could hear it sucking air. I tightened as much as I felt comfortable but still heard the air. Installed old fuel filter, cracked injectors, cranked till fuel came out, started in like 4 tries.

Now I have to go plead my case at the parts store where I got the new filter and try to exchange the one that has issues.

Once again thanks for all the help, beware new fuel filters (it was even a Bosch) doesn't make it good.

Going to bed, will apologize to the neighbors someday.

Thanks, B.C. Haven't thought about answering in a larger font, they might even finish reading the rest. Or maybe I could put in red too.
MAYBE!

I'm convinced that this is the problem...........90% of the time........coupled with a failure to read and act on the suggestion.

Perhaps, but if you read the original post, I did read the DIY link on fuel filter change and did prime it. it was the defective fuel filter

Agreed, with a full spin on, maybe a dozen pumps on the primer. Has worked, for me, numerous times.
