I'm looking for a blower regulator BOSCH 9 140 010 179

On diverse forum, I saw that this piece was made by BEHR under the reference 90 943 02 385
The BOSCH piece was replaced by a new model and Mercedes sell the ventilator AND the regulator practically 1000€.

I found on Web several regulators which are NOT for E300 TD of 1997
This one made by Kaehler


or that one made by BEHR


are used for a S320 1997 or a CL600 1998 (seen on ******** arizona)

Could I use them for my car ( E 300 TD 1997 W210 ) with some minor modifications ?

First, click "BUY PARTS" link above and check your VIN number to the chassis cutoff numbers for the parts to see if your regulator is replaceable or not. Some are. I suspect that yours isn't.

Assuming it is not available separately, the regualtor can usually be replaced with one from a W140 with some modification to the pigtails/wiring.

I believe the W140 part that is usually used looks like the one in your second photo.

If it were me, I would remove the regulator first before ordering anything so you are certain you get one that will fit.
