Now that my 350SDL is back I can have a nice (LOUD) comparison with VeeDubTDI's 300SDL. I'll try to get good audio recording equipment for the trials,

Literally good:. I need to replace the foam in the driver's seat in the Jetta, the SDL's seat is still in good shape (after I welded a broken spring back together). I'm spending a lot of time in the car thanks to work, so I'm looking forward to using it.
