Took apart injectors
Being that I was doing a lot of other engine related things, I decided that I was going to pull the injectors and give a run at cleaning them. I figured worse case was rebuilds which was the other option before starting.
I used a brass fine wire brush and steel wool on the outside along with WD40. Once cleaned up I opened one injector. I used the same steel wool and brass wire brush to clean everything up, keeping it well lubed with WD40. Put it all back together and all seems fine. Because I have done so many other things, I have no idea what impact this has had. I can't see any smoke and looking at the engine at idle, you can't tell if it is running or not. Don
