SS is running, but not 100% yet. I can take it around the block, but not to work yet and can't romp on it yet. My friend came over and tweaked the program a bit and we adjusted the roller rockers. Most of the work was via the computer though, something I don't know much about...yet.

Austin, I'm not that sick. I think 1 car is enough...but the CE didn't sell so I'll keep driving it for now. I think my timing was off. Nobody's buying a car right before Christmas without the wife finding out. I'll probably relist it in a few weeks, but I'll put up a Craigslist ad tomorrow for the heck of it.

The car looks nice as the start of a project. I do believe, however, that a roadster is a two seat convertible that has either a soft top or a removable hard top.

You're right about that. Although I don't consider 2" of legroom a legitimate seat though. It's not really a convertible either. I guess I could call it my 300CD converted. Although...the rear seatbelts no longer have a place to mount the shoulder belt, so I don't consider the rear seat usable except for parades maybe. Wouldn't that be a sight!

I don't care what any of you call it. I really like it and I'm kicking myself for not sending my brother to snatch it up for me, while it was still in Ct. I decided to let it go, and I know I should have grabbed it. The thing was 12 miles from my family and former residence in Ct. Now it's got a new home 710 miles south east of me and unavailable....AAARRGGHH..

Yeah, but you would have just put a rat motor in it anyway!

No not in this one. I'd do this one with a stroker SBC and once again, a six speed. This an exposed SL600 style, flip-up roll bar, for extra reinforcement, and it would look great with a set of Penta 16"s on it, and painted in either a dark burgundy of some sort, or possibly a really dark green, or perhaps silver, with my Black leather AMG/Recaro interior in it. Top off the outside with one of my complet AMG Body kits, and a full euro treatment.....Sick, it would be sick...

You can buy my 82 CD which comes with the 4 speed from the 240 ready to dump in there.

Yes you have to chop the roof off, but the suspension is new, it has 16" Ronals already on it, and it will be a stick too!!!

So tell me more about this Euro kit... are you talking about the chin spoiler and side skirts?

I have recently acquired a few entire, original AMG 123, and 126 body kits, most of which are still brand new in packaging. I paid more for the kits, than I've even paid for a few of my cars in recent years. I also have both a tan, and a black leather complete Recaro/AMG 123 coupe interiors in my stash and lots of other misc. AMG goodies, new and used.

I have some chin spoilers on hand.

What are you asking for the chin spoilers? I'm looking to get one, but not intersested in side skirts from what I've seen.

Not sure, never thought I would part with any of them. I know I paid $800.00 each for them, but they're brand new in the packaging.
You see, I have enough 123 coupes, currently that I still don't have enough spoilers to go around yet. If I wanted to equip. every one of my 123 coupes with one, I still need to buy 4 more of them for myself. Kinda planned on hanging onto them, atleast for the moment anyways. What did you want to offer? I'll trade you a complete outside body kit for your topless car, in exchange for your dark grey coupe...Even Steven..
