Taking the last ride: in W123 euro style.

I could have some fun with that one.
  • Subwoofers (really big ones) in a coffin.
  • Chrome plated hangman's noose dangling in the rear window.
  • Personalized license plates: 4 U 1DAY or maybe.... R U NEXT

I'd LOVE to get my hands on a 116 hearse...Subs in a coffin (old styled) would be awesome..slam it, shave handles and chrome and tinted headlights and tailights and windows...

Definitely an entertaining idea

FYI though, R U NEXT is already taken by a Caddy hearse that (unless they have moved or it has been been sold) lives in the San Ramon area. I used to see it on a regular basis when I lived there years ago.

I almost bought a hearse.. But then the gas crunch happened... My mom was like.. you can get one as long as you get it blessed and cleaned out... She had a friend in high school that drove a hearse to school.

My uncle loved his MB diesel. He is the one that got me started. When he passed away, his wishes were carried out.
1. Flush some ashes down the drain (was done out at sea in a boats head)
2. Thrown around (some ashes shot from a small canon)
3. Placed in the car (he now rides with his bride of more than 65 years, shes 90+ and drives his diesel and him around town). (Where the ashes are, she won't say...so I am guessing shes sitting on him.

I like the US style coaches over the Euro ones but the Rappold 66 200D is my second favorite of the ones pictured.
My all time favorite is this one:
with more photos of it at this link http://www.hearse.com/vehicles/motorized/cadillac/1939/ss/hearse/v001/pages/pa.html
