That's got a chain driven oil pump. Don't some of the 617's have a gear driven oil pump?

Shaft driven pump.

AFAIK, only the OM617.95x and OM60x engines used a chain driven pump. The OM615, OM616 and OM617.91x used shaft drive.

Good to know! So no worry of a time bomb in the 616? i.e. chain giving up no oil pressure seized engine?
