You can get them for that car from Adsit Co. at this link, but be aware that those things are notorious for rusting fenders out.

There are rubber gaskets that fit on the side of the chrome accents that go next to the fender. They are only "rust magnets" if you don't install them right. I've got a car with them on it, its 25 years old, and it doesn't have any around the wheel wells. Its had the accents on the car for 10 years +.

Make sure to seal the screw holes and, if possible, get stainless steel screws. The accents hold up fine, but the screws tend to rust. You can't see the screws or anything, but try to prevent them from rusting. If you can't find stainless, then just caulk over them or dab some rustproofing stuff on them.

I took mine off, but that's because I got different wheels. I think they look good with chrome wheels. Opinions tend to extremely vary about those things.

Its a turn off for me. One look and I imagine all the rust that may exist underneath. Always looks like a cover up.

ditto

I always think it's on the car to hide rust when I see one for sale with them applied to fenders.

My car had them when i first bought it. I just recently took them off and found no rust what-so-ever. I did have to drill a few of the screws out since they were not stainless and had rusted up too bad to get out. Must have been on there for quite some time, as there is now a distinguishing color difference from where they were installed. I think if done right, they dont always turn out to be "rust magnets". I had an 65 fairlane that had them as well. Had to remove then when someone hit the rear quarter. No rust under there as well.

I just ordered somne stainless ones off of ebay for 60 bucks. I am expecting them to be total crap, but well see. They have the rubber gasket also. If they arent complete crap and look good on the car ill leave em on and check in a year to see if i find alittle rust. Well see. I wonder if you were to put some wheel bearing grease in there or something if it would inhibit rust, or maybe it would just eat the paint.
