Source for Piston rings
Hey All,
Finally tore apart the 616 engine(1983 240D) with bad blow by. Found a nice gouge at the top of the cylinder sleeve. I'm replacing all sleeves and rings but can't find a source for piston rings on line anywhere. I'm getting all of my parts from Phil at fastlane but can't find rings. Any suggestions? I'd rather go with a good oem supplier, but don't want to call my local dealership. Thanks, Dale |

Buy Parts
Buy Parts here on the forum, does list them though temporarily unavailable. I would suggest you call Phil. He can probably come up with a set. Remember you have to get those sleeves machined to match the rings after the sleeves are installed.

******** Arizona has them online. About $132/set. There are 3 different brands/sizes listed.
