Transmission slow to engage
I've noticed lately that my 83 300D Turbo is slow to engage the transmission (most times but not always) when I change from reverse to drive or from park to drive, etc. The transmission was rebuilt about a year ago. The car has 206,000 miles.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Thanks, Krwsenior |

How is the fluid level? Was it rebuilt by a reputable shop? If the fluid level is ok then slow engagement usually points to internal wear....
