fuel leak

My 93 300D is leaking fuel out of I think it is the fuel pump. Is there a good way to pinpoint where it is leaking from? and is there any special tools i might need?

Guessing you have a leaky #1 delivery valve seal but is so dirty is impossible to say for certain.

Spray it down with carb or brake cleaner to clean it and then look again after idling 10 minutes to confirm.

If it is the DV you will need a special MB splined socket to remove the DV holder.

It's the round device the injection lines attach to that has 30 splines on the outside of it.

There are o-rings under them that can leak from age.
