temperature sensor for aux fan
I am pretty sure my temp sensor on the dryer is busted. The Po had jumpered the aux fan so it ran all the time. I took the jumper out and re-connected the sensor, and haven't overheated with the AC on, but the weather here has cooled down (finally!) so I am not sure if it is working or not.
But, I figure he wouldn't have jumpered it if it was. So my question is what do I replace it with. The sensor that is there is brass with a red top - it looks just like the one Fastlane has - except the wire leads to the fan seem to be attached to the top. The one on Fastlane has a metal pin that sticks out of the red cap part. ******** has a different style - has a blue top with the leads connected so that part looks more like mine (but the color is different and there is a note about checking the thread size on the sensor b/c some have been changed to a different thread). Finally, I will say that I have 134a in my system. Does that mean that the temp sensor should engage at a different temperature than R-12?
