Car repair is driving me mad.

All of my vehicle where dead this morning at the same time.
I need a life.

INSPECTOR CLOUSEAU
"Weel monsieur, your automobile is sick, no?"

PETER LORRE (with a hunchback)
"Ahhha,Ahhhha,De car is possessed, it is ahhhha, ahhha my friend."

INSPECTOR CLOUSEAU
"So you admit to having relations with the the suspect in question, oui?"

"Oh yes; si, Senor Inspector Clouseau, I have intimate knowledge of all de delicious nooks and crannies within the fiber of her being." Ahhha,Ahhhha."
"She makes makes me laugh, cry, sing like a songbird;......she makes me crazy." "Hau,...hau,hau."

INSPECTOR CLOUSEAU
"Oui, you are vexed by the cooing heartthrob of her touch. With my brilliant deductive gendarme training complimented by my superlative sharp, razoooor like intellect,... I suspect and know, that you know, that I know, that you know much more, than you are telling me moname." My little peep squeeka you".

PETER LORRE (with a hunchback and a John Wayne drawl.)
"Well pilgrim you got my liver, but I reckon it ain't over yet. I won't be tongue tied forever."

INSPECTOR CLOUSEAU
"Cato, keell hem."

We moved from the Rio Grande Valley to St Louis for about six months last year (over the winter) and both diesels lost their battteries, I replaced glow plugs, one of the windows stopped going up and down, the sun roof and the cruise control quit working, the cars were hard to start and on and on and on.
We moved back to a decent climet (Texas) and all of it started working again.

Add a Honda or Toyota to your stable, that way you will always have a car that can get you to work.

Why do you think I've got three of them?

If all three are actually running at the same time, it's a GD miracle.

77 needs fuel lines at the tank.
79 needs an alternator
85 starter sometimes fails to engage with the key

Entropy always wins.

All three of ours are on the road at least 97% of the time overall......mine is on the road about 99% of the time. My dad's SD....about 94% (he does restoration work on it that takes a long time) And the 300D holds an excellent track record of around 99.5%, its only major repair was replacing the starter, all other things have only taken 1-3 hours.....and didn't prevent it from being on the road as the work was performed when the car wasn't needed.

So true!

I have to say knock on wood my SDL ran like a top this season, never really needed much. I think I just messed with the serp belt a little.

Of course the front end is clunky like crazy, and I am nursing the ignition tumbler, I have been ignoring a bit. I'll play catch up when it goes in for "overhual".

ROFLMAO!!! Good one, Brian. My new daily driver is my 300D. Why? Because my 300SDL has fuel leaking from the front --- primary fuel pump, I think --- AND the #6 injector appears to have a fuel leak/not popping correctly issue.

I told my wife this week ...knowing my luck, the 300D is going to sale and then I'll be driving the 1995 Dodge Dakota, 5 speed, to work. Ugh!!!

That's the way it will always be..........the W-123 (or early W-126 in my case) is the daily driver and the later W-126 is the prima donna...........just like a high maintenance woman............you never know what it's going to need.........or when it's going to provide service..............
