Try Mobil-1 5W-40 (and only that viscosity!) and see if the noise changes or goes away. For some people, that alone will cure the problem. If not, wait a few thousand miles. If it's no better, you need to replace the lifter(s). You can either determine which ones are bad, or replace all of them... but at $25-$30 each, they're not exactly cheap. To install, coat the machined surfaces with clean engine oil - that's it. When you're done, pour some clean oil over each cam lobe before closing up the engine & starting it.

New lifters in my 603 eliminated the noise. My "new" 602 has a couple of horribly failed lifters that synthetic oil did nothing for... I'm about to order new lifters for that car, my wife says it sounds like Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang...!
