Nice 300D for sale, but high price.

This is the same guy that sold a 300td ,of the same color, about a month ago. Both have been very nice cars.

For someone willing to forgive what happened to the hood, it sure sounds like a great car for the money, especially with the records and no rust on it, prices for these diesels has run amok with the Biodiesel craze and high fuel prices.

The miles on it (assuming they are correct) are not very high either.

Hey Guys,
This is my 300D. I dropped the price to $5000 and am willing to work with the right buyer. I found a beautiful 69 Porsche 912 that is just too nice to pass up. I drive the 300D to work, park it in a garage and travel for about 2 weeks at a time. It always starts right up perfectly and is so relaxing to come home to after travelling, etc. Just a fun car. If anyone is seriously interested I can take more pics, etc. There is no rust anywhere on the car. I mean none. The mileage is original and accurate. I've tried to track down as much documentation/history as possible and I do have the original owners name and a phone # but haven't called them to find out more about doc's etc. Here's a link to my newer ad.

My # is 320 Four 91 5316. THe car is in Atlantic Beach, FL.

Some more pics and info. I have never washed the car. I simply dusted it off and then went ahead with detailing. I drove it in the rain once and wiped it down when I got back home... When I travel with the car it's parked in a parking garage with a cover on it... The first aid kit cover is cracked but still there. All of the first aid kit is intact with the "Re-ordering" card in there. I've never seen that in any other 123 benz but maybe it's common? The car never smokes on start up or idle.

Looks like it was pulled out of a hermetically-sealed time capsule. Wow!

DAMMIT! Just bought an 84 300SD in the same type of superior condition a few months ago. I don't have the garage space that this car deserves. You might try a craigs ad in the Seattle area. We are biodiesel freaks and I would've quickly jumped on a plane for this awesome car.

Anyone? So many people excited about the car but still no sale. $4500 would take it. I know someone out there will love it as much as I have. I also have the clear title and a clear carfax on hand. It's been in Jacksonville its whole life.

Damn at that price I'd get it, if only I had the money...

I've been trying to figure out a way to open the coffers all morning. That's a beautiful car. Good luck....it deserves a happy home. Decent price too.

Wanna drive it to PA for me? I'd almost hate to drive it up here.

You should be able to sell the car at that price with no problem, just a matter of having the right buyer at the right place and time. If I was shopping, I would be interested. Just hang in there until you find someone serious.

I have a guy getting a PPI done tomorrow on it. I am a bit weary because he's been talking lowball figures through the entire process and I told him there's noway I'll go lower than $4500. He's comparing it to some 300k + mile cars for sale locally that are beatup, teenagerizedm, subwoofing, hoopties (sp)... This car is in a different class. We'll see if he comes through.
