1980 300TD headliner, wiper questions

Finally getting around to putting together a list of "little" projects for the winter months. Need somthing to occupy my time so I don't get cabin fever

Headliner:
A little bit of the headliner cover (white) pealed off at the right edge of the sunroof. It is not torn by any means. Not sure if it's held by adhesive or crimped somehow. I'd like to fix it of course. Any suggestions before I try my take on it and mess it up?

Wiper control:
At this time only the Hi setting works. Intermittent and Lo do not. I have been told that it sometimes is just the contact of the control lever at the steering column. I visually checked this not long ago. Did not spot any broken wires. I am still optimistic that its within the steering column and not any relay (if there is even one in this model).

Thanks in advance.

Are your contacts contacting enough?
