617 in 60's finback

Doea anyone know if a turbo 617 will fit in a 68 200 series finback? Appears these cars ran a straight 6> Just dreaming outloud.

I think you may find problems around the turbo area, and the oil filter location if a later one.

I think the early turbos may have the filter down under the motor and thus fit better.

I think you would have better luck with an early non turbo 617.

Yes, a 617 will fit. Here are pictures from a W110 installation.

I don't know, the website I got the pictures from is gone. All I can do is show you the pictures I saved.
