Must get from Stuggart Germany
Greetings,
On my 1984 190d 2.2, looking toward the car at the main fuel filter three lines go toward the engine that are hard plastic and kind of dark. The line on the right broke - it goes down to the side of the engine. I went to the Mercedes dealership in Nashville this morning and they said it would have to come out of Germany. The part number is 601 070 0632; the cost would be $12.00. Anybody out there that can help me? I guess I'm just like nearly everyone else - I need my car to make a living. O yes, while I was there I got some fuel return line and it cost $26.50. How about that. Hugh Sr. |

Get some rubber 3/8 or 5/16 (which ever it is) and patch it together until you get the right tubes.

I got bulk tygon fuel lines from Mcmaster in Cleveland a couple of months ago; $25 got me more than I need of 1/4 and 3/8 to do the whole car.

fuel lines
X2 what Lance said...same thing happened to me a couple of months ago and I just put some 5/16" rubber line over the barbs (I left the nylon on the barb) and clamped down (upon the advice on here).
No need to for expensive dealer part unless you really, really want the clear lines.

Order the right ones from the dealer. I know the lines you are talking about my 603 has very similer ones, I replaced all off mine to prevent this from happening. I'd replace them all.
Here is what you do, remove the leaking line. Cut the old plastic material off and replace it with probably 5/16 rubber fuel hose. Then get some good hose clamps and clamp each end. It may weep slightly but it should get you by until the proper replacements come in.
