um, I have quite a few uh, spare cars... 3 or 4 speedometers. two of them have slipping odo's but that's not a big deal to fix. my 78 odo has 114K on it, the 79 odo has 158K on it, and the odd extra I know I have has 240K on it I think. I may have more if you are looking to keep the miles in approx same range of yours...

thank you

Hey, there's the solution! Just get a 300D speedometer from vstech! It's good to see forum members taking care of each other. :)

Pssst! I'll still be glad to have your broken unit. Tinkering with little mechanical things keeps me from going crazy in this apartment. Keeps me off the streets, too!

pm me your shipping info, I will see what UPS wants for fuel this week...

for sure
i figured being in seattle this time of year would be enough to keep you in doors.

what's wrong with the weather in seattle this time of year? I thought it was pretty nice up there on the warm pacific currents...

omne207 12-12-2007 05:52 PM

when i was in oregon it started to be the rainy season in sept.
cold and rainy would prefer to stay in doors for that one
i could be wrong though

Okay, Seattle isn't frozen beneath a layer of ice or snow, but it is cold. At least the rain has stayed away for a while. Over all it hasn't been bad up here for the past week, but it's not the sort of weather you really want when you're standing outside for hours tinkering on a car.

It will get worse. Soon the rain will return, and it won't go away until May.

ahh, perhaps that is the root of the high suicide rate up there? man I can't stand endless rain... however the drought we are currently in (the city is bumping the price of city water 500% for anybody who uses over 5000gallons a month...) sure does suck!

KAdams4458 12-12-2007 07:18 PM

The high suicide rate isn't accurate these days. Really, it only happened during the whole "grunge" phase Seattle went through. That much dirty plaid in one city is bound to make people consider offing themselves. Heh.

Actually, I made that up. I really have no idea what the local suicide rate is compared to the rest of the country. It seemed like it might be funny to say, though.
