location of the stereo amp?
 

i have a 91 350sdl and i have removed the 'wall board' in the trunk hoping to find it there. no luck.

i also looked (via the open trunk) in the rear fenders. i also looked under the rear seat.

Please help me find this amp. i am hoping to change the fuse and bring the radio back from the dead. (the radio lights up but nothing else happens)

Try in the multimedia car audio forum. I think that it make be back behind the stereo in the dash. I am not sure but if you have looked everywhere else that is where i would check. also check your fuses on in the fuse box. I dont think that they would put a fuse on the amp because if it went out it would be hard to get to. try the fuse box but also try to put this in the other forum.

The last time I looked on that 91 350SDL, there were 2 amplifiers. They are in the trunk on passenger side. You have to remove the cladding on that side and you will see them, one on top of the other along with another box. Pretty standard on 126 and 124 models.

on mine they were actually under the back rest section of the rear seat, one on each side, little square boxes right above access hole for rear shock area.
