82 300sd new ride
This is my 3rd 300 D. The interior is shot, but the engine and transmission seem to be good. She's been resprayed with crappy paint but overall the body is in pretty good shape. Some of the paint is bubbling and flaking away and there's no shine/luster to the paint at all.
All the windows work except for one. I drove her home in the rain and managed to at least roll up that window the next day. The climate control doesn't seem to work, the lights are dim inside, the antenna and cruise control don't work. Oh the vacuum on the locks don't seem to work, but she starts right up and shuts right down. My neighbor has a complete interior which I hope to acquire to make her at least drivable. Enjoy the pictures. Pictured next to it is my 87 300sdl.

Bring it back to life, keep it on the road! Its probably got no rust since its in CA, keep it alive!
With an interior swap and minor maintenance I bet it could be a great daily driver for a long time. What on earth did the previous owner do to that poor interior??? I can never understand what people do to cars....its crazy.
