Another glow plug isue

I'm pretty sure this is a glow plug issue right? So Cal temp. 45 in the morning, takes a couple of cranks to start the engine and poof, a large plume of smoke comes from my pipes. I'm planning to change them this weekend. Question:

1. What tools do I need?
2. How long does it take?
3. I'm "guessing" I have two duds, does it make sense to change them all together (the others aren't far behind from dying, right)

Thanks for all your input.
This forum is awesome!!! Merry Christmas!!!

Help us help you. Please read the first post of the thread linked below:

Or just cheat and fill us in with the following:

1. Year

2. Model

3. Full description of symptoms.

4. Testing/diagnosis already performed, as well as any recently performed or known delinquent maintenance.
Whoever said there's nothing more expensive than a cheap Mercedes never had a cheap Jaguar.

83 300D Turbo with manual conversion, early W126 vented front rotors and H4 headlights 367,xxx miles
08 Triumph Street Triple 30,xxx miles, lowered 10mm in front, Pirelli Angel GT tires, EBC HH brake pads, otherwise stock.
88 Jaguar XJS V12 93,xxx miles. I should be in the garage now.

Yeah, put your car in your sig, that way you don't have to add it every time you post. You can check resistance with an ohm meter, below 1 is good.
