1985 W126 inline fuse from fuse box?
 

There is a red wire with an inline fuse coming out of my fuse box. I pulled the other half of the wire out a few months ago (thinking it was aftermarket) when I was chasing electrical gremlins.
There was also a yellow wire coming out right next to it.

I cut that.

The car had an aftermarket alarm and car phone installed to it and I was having some trouble finding the cause of blowing fuses. Now that's taken care of and the interior is going back together, I'm thinking maybe those wires could be factory and I wanted feedback. Anybody else got these?
