The 240D Song
In a rare moment of artistic inspiration, I wrote a song, or at least a parody, to the tune of Little Deuce Coupe. For your enjoyment:
Chorus: 240D-you don't know what I got I’m not whinin’ babe so don’t put me down But I’ve got the slowest set of wheels in town When I think about passing, man I don’t even try Even if it had wings it still couldn’t fly She’s my 240D-you don’t know what I got Just a 240D with a diesel mill, but she'll walk a Peterbuilt like she's standin' still Injectin' little fuel with small stroke and bore, she'll do about 80 on the top end floored She's my 240D-you don't know what I got She's got a hydraulic clutch and a four on the floor, and she moves like a tortise while the engine roars But if that ain't enough to make you flip your lid, there's one more thing-she's smog exempt daddy! Well comin' off the line when the light turns green, well she blocks up the lane like you've never seen I get cussed out a lot, and it's hard to steer, cause everybody's always on my rear She's my 240D-you don't know what I got |

You shouldn't drink at work:D

The bad thing is that I was completely sober when I came up with it.

Record it on YouTube and send the link to Click and Clack. You might get 2 minutes of fame.

That has a little something.......
Maybe "Silver Thunderbird" by Mark Cohn could be your next project.:D "She had great big fins and painted steel Man she looked just like the Batmobile..... :batman: With my old man behind the wheel." |
Might try the tune "Alice's Restaurant" looks like the verse will fit
