Didn't Peterbuilt or one of the big rig co's used to have a system that constantly pumped a small amount of crankcase oil into the fuel tank? The idea that you never change the oil, just top it off regularly? I seem to recall reading something like this.... RT

Cummins has that option on their larger engines.

Well guys I have done this in a 240d and a 6.2 chevy but unless you have very clean oil it is more trouble than it is worth. According to the manual for a cummins engine you can burn kerosene if you add a quart of oil to I think 2 gallons of it so the oil will lube the pump. The only real diffrence in ATF and engine oil is the viscosity and the red dye. If you have a good filter it will get anything that will hurt the engine thats what they are for. Your engine will run fine no extra smoke a little more power due to the higher btu per gallon of the oil. But it will be very hard to start in the cold and you have to mix it with diesel then filter it good or you will have goo in the tank strainer and 1 or 2 tanks at a 25 to 50% mix will stop up the filters on the car. I really dont see how this would be any more illegal than WVO you arent paying tax on either one.
