"Euro light plugs" source
While having fun stripping my '87 300D to the chassis, I noticed that several of the connectors in the car are six-pin, same as the European headlamps: The US taillamps use the 6pin (Euro taillamps use the 8pin on the left), the sunroof controls, the wiper, more.
Seems that a quick trip to the junkyard would yield enough of these connectors to do a Euro-light conversion, probably more on other Mercedes models.

That's where I found mine. 124's and 201 use a few of them in the engine bay as well.
Interesting about the euro taillights with the 8pin connector. I was wondering how they worked the rear fog wire in there, and more importantly how I'm going to add it.
