Oil thread :) Schaeffers Supreme 9000 & others?
I'm due to do a full fluid change and was wondering thoughts on synthetic oil, ATF, and Diff fluids.
I'm debating M1 5w50 or the Schaeffers 5w40 for the engine oil, and was thinking why not use their ATF and gear oils as well? Are there any opinions as to which is better (obviously there will be), or is this more a matter of whichever is cheaper, they are both plenty good? -nB

I use Schaeffers 7000 15-40 because I can get it locally. I would prefer the 10-30 as that is a Mercedes approved oil for my 98. I haven't seen any Schaeffer 9000.

The 9000 is full synthetic. I'd have to order it, but figured no worries as my favorite parts place doesn't have synthetic ATF or gear oil so it's be one big order. They allow mix and match for special orders to avoid any fees
