w124 radiator replace question

I was pushing my friends car with my w124 300td (dumb i know),anyway i went under the other cars bumper and i pushed my grill in and i heard a crack sound, coolant leaked everywhere, didnt seem like a big hit but it seems radiator is bust,i picked up a new Behr from dealer and a gallon of Zerex, but do you guys think i should change the water pump as well??
This is critical to me since id hate to have to do a water pump job after i replace radiator?
Please help

ps does anyone have a DIY for radiator R&R on a w124???

Yeah that makes sense to me. Also the hoses, and if you can spare the change and it hasnt already been done, the serp belt, tensioner spring, and big ass tensioner arm/bearing assy.

Once you pull the rad its a quick job to do the wp and all the other stuff I mentioned.

You better pry out the front clip so it dont rub on the new rad. Hopefully the AC condenser and aux fan didnt die too!

Lesson learned...do that in reverse next time

Not sure what year you have, but on the '87, the plug is behind the driver's side headlight. You should be able to follow the wires from the fan. I would pull the aux fan and make sure you didn't break the fan bracket. When I pulled mine to clean it, the bracket was broken. I got it welded and it is fine now.
