accumulator.........

leaking tranny. red fluid on the 'rug' in garage. so i drained transmission fluid. including torque converter. changed out the filter. installed new gasket. as in pan. still a leak. so took to independent. wish i have/had a 'lift'.

an outfit i respect. schachelford. 22405. and who on the 'invoice' came back as an accumulator gasket leak. sum? $265? did a search. accumulator refers to fuel system. it be not leaking now. hope i be correct. wanted to do this sole. check on janko reveals that this is not his car. auto. evidentally janko wanted to impress 'distaff'. he failed. car? an 89 300e. wtf...............

thank you.

also janko positioned paper towels at specific places where the leak may have occcurred. best guess, the 'kick down' switch. rear of tranny. maybe passenger side.

all i know and then some. i really like the distaff mentioned above/

and maybe........

I had a leak on the SD when I bought it, did the fluid and filter thing, torqued all bolts to specs, no more leaks.
