I love them, but I'd rather have a small fleet of low perfect pre-85 diesels than this one. Other companies may try to copy the looks of a mercedes, but can't come close. A GL320cdi.... now that's something I would buy.
hmm... a car for every day of the week is tempting, though.

I've messed with a GL320 cdi in person at the dealer....that IS a nice vehicle. I'd want one of those as well. Although I'd be ok with the ML320 cdi also. GL is a bit big....I don't really want to be one of those "I drive a big SUV" people.....

Let's see for 55k I could get a very nice E320 cdi, or I could get:

1. A low mileage 450sel 6.9 in perfect shape for around $15,000

2. A nice 300tdt with 3 rows to haul more people and stuff $5,000
3. A perfect 300cdt coupe mated with a stick shift. $10,000
4. A rally style 450slc $10,000

Grand Total: $40,000

That leaves another $15,000 to keep them all running, or maybe build a big barn style garage to keep them all. With my 3 other cars below, I could have a car for every day of the week.

Now....who wants to give me $55,000?

Dear Mr. Gates:

Anyone elso with wish lists?

Sorry, but the S-Class wins hands down every time....

Blue Tec is great, S-Class is best.

I agree, I'd rather have several of the older MB's than a new one. Why limit yourself to just one when you could buy several?! Keeps things way more interesting and enjoyable.

Not to mention the up to 50% depreciation within 3 years after you get a new car.
