w210 transmission rating
does anybody know what torque level the transmission in a w210 is rated to?

Which one? The older 722.4 4-speed or the newer 722.5 5-speed electronic?

The 722.6xx was also used for all the V8's including the E55 and probably the S600 too. I believe the V8's used a 722.638 vs the 722.608 used in the E300.
Some of the V8's hold ~2L more fluid than the E300 so prob have a different torque converter.

The 722.6 should be good to 400-500 foot pounds.
It was used in the W210 E55, the XJR, and in the BI turbo S600 to 2006. Maybe the 65 series of AMG monsters as well. I am sure some parts were changed though. The 722.6 was MB's bread and butter gear box from 1997-2006. You can also find it in many Chrysler cars and Jag's.
