Are these too high wattage for the 123 wiring?
Anyone have any history with these bulbs?
Should I try to return these and get a lower wattage bulb?

You cannot run 100/90W bulbs without proper relays. You'll fry the wiring.
The Depos run very well with the standard 55/60W bulbs. If you want more............and more doesn't guarantee much more light.........you've got to spend $100. and an afternoon wiring up proper relays.
