What is this part-Picture

http://www.4shared.com/dir/4678458/3d3acdd9/sharing.html

I was blocking off my egr-3/2 vacuum lines and saw the male end of this part unattached to a hose. What is this part and where does the missing hose attach to?

it is atmospheric sensor tube, it attaches to nothing. it senses atmospheric pressure to provide fuel enrichment/reduction depending on altitude.
if you had a turbo, it would be your alda to provide enrichment for turboed air/fuel mix.

Is this on your 1981 300D turbo ???
I need a better quality picture, and an arrow indicating which tube.
You can edit in MS paint, and e-mail it direct to me roy@peachparts.com

Have a great day.
