who needs a T3 for the '87 300(t)d?

I have a very tight one here. I replaced it with a rebuilt unit only to discover later that my IP wasn't putting out enough fuel. so I replaced this perfectly ok working nice T3 with a rebuilt one. anyway, too lazy to put it back. no play of any meaning in shaft, vertically or horizontally. spins smooth.
no bids under $250. I know what they're worth.
yes it's a garrett. made in France I believe. which is cool.

In South Africa it might be worth $250, a used turbo in the USA is much less.

There is a sales forum where you should post this. http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/mercedes-benz-used-parts-sale-wanted/

Shops always rip people off on used items. For $350 it should be a fresh rebuild.

My guide for "what will this thing really sell for" is eBay. I look through the "closed" sales, see which items have sold and which didn't sell, and price mine accordingly. Based on a quick look right now, you might get $100 for it. A lot of used turbo listings didn't sell at all.

my rebuild was $256. I didn't pay tax. but if I could put this 'old' one back and sell the rebuild one without touching a wrench, I would do it right away.
I had it sold to this dude in canada, but I can't contact him through ebay anymore (i guess they got pissed off by us dealing outside the auction)
so I can't sell it to him! he'd pay $200.
which I think is a good price for it. I was hoping he was a forum member.

Couple years ago my indie bought my cali version turbo for $150.00.
I don`t know how many miles was on it. I had already changed the car
to a federal version.

A used one at Pick N Pull is $49.99 plus $9.99 core.

What difference does that make? They are functionally and bolt-in identical.

the kkk on my sd looks different from a garrett though. I guess it's personal, but I like kkk better.
