It's easy to figure out
Assuming that the differential is assembled, count the number of turns of the imput shaft to one turn of the wheel or axle shaft. I would be rare if that were exactly 3 turns to 1, giving you a 3.00 ratio. If it turns two and three quarters time to one of the wheel, you have a 2.75 and if it turns three and one quarter turns you have a 3.25. Rarely will you come up with whole numbers or nice fractions. That is why numbers 2.88, 3.01, 3.07 3.23 and 4.11 and 5.14 or 6.17 come up on the charts. So turn the imput shaft and count it up. It will be plus or minus 3.00. On a 450 SE, I would guess around 2.88. With less power, the ratio number usually increases.
