Beautiful example! Very nice!!!

Nice find!! How many miles does she have?
Is that a aftermarket horn or an alarm system just behind the windshield washer bottle? |
169K,
I can't believe it, everybody asks about that alarm. Its coming out. :D |
I spy 'Bama Chrome!
|
Nice wagon! Your third row seat with headrests, looks to be in great condition.

WOW!!! an 81 with that low of milage, good find. looks like a few little
fixes here and there and you are good to go. It looks like the door jam area is white, was it repainted yellow? or is it just the bright sun Az. sun light? Charlie |

I'm guessing the sun since the engine bay matches the wagon's exterior. Nice wagon, and very clean engine bay! It is funny to see the SLS reservoir on the passenger side of the wagon, but my '80 had it over there as I think most all of them do. {might be '85 only on driver's side?} Wonder why that changed? The link to sheepskins.com will be useful. ;) You might have to go to antennamast.com too. :D Very nice wagon you got there, and I certainly enjoy the pics! |
What the heckfire is Bama Chrome? LOL
Sheepskins..... I am trying to find a good replacement seat at the moment. But yeah, even when the seats are in good shape the sheepskins kind of finish it off. The drivers side rear quarter appears to have been painted, the door jamb is original though, just the lighting throwing the color off. |
I assume Bama Chrome to be duck tape (I know it's really ducT tape....but you don't know how I use it or how good it works on ducks!). Too bad they don't make Palamino colored tape.
That wagon looks like it deserves a real replacement seat cover, but some folks like sheep skin. The rear head rests flung a solid green envy on me even though I always keep all the rear seats folded down! Not much to gripe about with this one, looks like you done good. |
um, my 80 TD parts car has great seats, and carpet... pm me if you are interested...
