I was pulled over when I had my euros on and the cop did a visual inspection of my car... didn't say anything at all... Doubt he noticed that they were not US SPEC

That was much more of an issue 20 years ago when all the U.S. spec lights looked the same.

Exactly. Even the euros are no match for all the stupid SUV's driving around with HID lights that burn out our retinas.....

I drove my alternate route last night and found that not only is it nicer roads (all smooth!) and no rich people-serving cops, it also shaved nearly 4 mins off the travel time despite being about 2.5 miles longer. Its because I get to drive at 45-55 instead of 25. Less stop and go too...had to stop about 4-5x on that route, the slow cop-laden route I have to stop like 10-12 times.

Pissing off the "rich people" story.

The people on my friends street are kind of up tight, well some of them. They complained to him about his music once, he was listening to some songs as he washed his truck. NFW could they hear it unless they went right up to the woods and listned. Anyway he was pissed. I can over we hung out and decided to go somewhere, probably Home Depot for his parents or something. He tried out the posi on his Chevy and left some amazing burn marks in front of there house, with rammstein blasting over his system.

Very similer to his truck, the affect was most deseriable!

Someone I don't think a cop would know the difference, unless he was an enthusiast.

No kidding. The cop who pulled me over was a female, probably weighed 125lbs....and about 25 years old or so. (And probably has little to none in car knowledge) When I gave her my "this was professionally installed and its normal for these cars" statement, she looked pretty confused. I doubt she was expecting me to say that. LOL.

Not sure...she didn't say anything about it. When I got pulled over my first thought was that she was annoyed by my soot cloud....but appearantly not.

If it happens again I will say "this is a 26 year old diesel car, its not going to be quiet."

I don't what the issue is about these engines being too loud. I made a video of my bare engine running with nothing attached except the oil cooler. It wasn't that loud.

I would just point out to the cop that there is more noise coming from under the hood than there is out the tail pipe and say "its a diesel". It worked for my little brother when he got pulled over for a loud exhaust in my dads chevy luv diesel.

Note: he is now a sheriff deputy so he probably won't be hassling diesel drivers about loud exhaust
