Yes, like that cheap particle board furniture you buy at K Mart.

waa! that is the 3rd limo in Dallas I see in less than a year!

First diesel though! technically they are 300DL and never come with badges!

The other 2 I have seen were a 280L and a 280EL. I must say the tobacco interior on this one looks better than black interior. And as Jimmy said I would avoid a black limo with black interior in TX!!!

I think they are semi factory conversions. I believe they are commonly used in the middle east as taxis....many I think are actually 240s, running 392 rear ends.

I'd take the new or the old.

$30k wouldn't even be a downpayment on a 62. Start ticking off the options and the price goes over $500k real fast! A fully optioned Guard is about $750k.

$30k gets you the panal between you and the help.

If your not paying in cash or putting $300k down on that car you can't afford it.

If you really want a limo check the grand rapids craigslist.
A nice gasser, white, blue interior, $8900.
I know, it isn't a diesel but it looks pretty good for the $$$.

"Winning bid" was $15K. That woodgrain formica was all the rage in the late 70's!

I'd totally buy that, start my own party limo service. "Party like it's 1978 all over again!"

The auction didn't start that way! If you look closely at their auctions you notice the same bidders on many of their cars. I reported them for shill bidding practices.
It won't go anywhere of course cause ebay doesn't really care, but, the auction terms are now different, ie: no reserve and no BIN. Coincidence? yeah, probably.....
They also never would return my calls even though they leave a number. Limo is local and I wanted to check it out. {novelty factor}

**oh, and quite a bit of negative feedback, and feedback withdrawals....
