I'm amazed, personally, at how many computer people we've got here. Who'd have thought... IT-oriented people driving computerless diesels

ya know... typically i would get offended with a comment like that (only cause of the bad rep parlors have given the profession)... but i have had such a crappy week... it is good to see there is still humor out there..

this board is good for laughs when needed.

I break things for a living...
I work in a Semiconductor MegaCorp and test firmware stacks for bugs so your computers will boot.
Previously to that I maintained the equipment to test flash devices (at same megacorp) to ensure your camera would not forget your car pictures for you... (Strictly speaking I fixed things here, not broke them)
Previously to that I tested Comms Silicon at the same MegaCorp to ensure you could read this forum over "teh intarwebs"
So all in all you all owe me for this forum

I've also sold cars (Saturn) and as the topic started noted, once you've sold cars you are eternally unclean. I would like to note, however that you must not *sell* your soul, merely lease it for the duration of your employment (just watch out for those mileage overages).
Sold cameras, electronics, and pizza as well.

Winmutt: I hate you*... Porn? I still wonder if I should have turned down a photographer job doing that....**

As to shoe size: 45 So there (in fine Portuguese Ox hide, ThankYouVeryMuch).

* In a good way
** But we'll skip my internal moral struggles for now (scary thing is the then GF, now wife, thinks I should have done it).

By the way my exception handler test that was running for the last hour just bombed... Yeaaaaa
