This guy made a big mistake in his add. "Will deliver if you have the ability to take all that I have."
If some one from Florida called he would (in theory) have to deliver to them!

I got rid of 160 gallons in 30 minutes on CL.
I just don't have time in winter to make bio so we set up
a deal. I give 12 gallons per week, they pick up and leave
me 4 gallons of bio. So I can still use a bit of bio in the
winter and they still get free-ish oil.

*sigh*

Again?

*EDIT*: Decided to un-quote this reply and let it be a generic commentary on all such threads. We've had several lately.

Ignore works too

Yes, please don't quote Mr. Induction, as I have set his postings to 'ignore'

Illegal?

I self-assess the road tax for my WVO on a quarterly basis, and send a cheque to the minister of finance. Many states and provinces have arrangements for this, or better yet, a tax exemption.

I've also crossed the US border with a full tank and additional jerry cans of veggie oil. They've asked me what it is, and I've told them. It may have raised an eyebrow, but I haven't ended up in Guantanamo yet.

I really didn't plan to jump into this.

But... if it's flat out illegal then why are some states providing benefits such as approved freedom from taxation on it?

And... Forced... I'm not about to jump onto the people-bashing party that seems to take place a lot in threads like this. I've agreed with you on several things in the past on other threads.

That said... I have to ask... What about running non-EPA fuels in a Mercedes is any more illegal than running a Mercedes diesel on the road without its EGR? I mean, it was put there to satisfy emissions laws...

VO is not illegal in all states. Plain and simple. If people want to run it and the law says they can, leave them alone. They bought the car with their money.

Forced, chill on the veggie *******s. We all know your just pissed off becuase you don't want to see these cars get converted, and I agree with that. But who cares really if someone adds a little to their tank? Hell, im running 50% svo i got from target right now because its cheap. Honestly forced, I don't want to see cars get converted as much as I don't want people taking Mercedes and adding methanol injections, more powerful turbos, and straight pipes coming out under the passenger door. Its not that you give a **** because its illegal, you just hate people running any kind of vegetable oil, even if its summer and someone pours an extra gallon in their tank just for fun.

And I also like how you always seem to ignore the "yeah well you took of your EGR, and thats illegal" defense. Its true forced, its illegal. When you drive your car, your breaking the law. So stop with your pretentious crap, or put your egr and your mufflers back on.

You are incorrect. My 1980 Mercedes 240D meets all applicable emissions requirements for its make, model, year and engine.

I'll put it the same way all the WVO/SVO users say it. "Make me."

Really? So if my friend takes his catalytic converter of his 1980 Volvo it will pass a smog test? I think not.
