Is there a part missing?

I was under my car installing a cord for the block heater. I noticed a hole in the front of the bell housing on the tranny. It look like dirt could easily get in there. I have searched but could not find one, but is there a rubber cover that goes in the hole? If so does any one know the part number?

bling_bling?

Yes, there is a rubber/platic plug that seals that hole. Click on the "buy parts" link at the top of the page and you should be able to buy one.
