Another Oil leak by turbo question.(300SD CA FED)
I've noticed that my turbo is leaking oil, insert all comments here, and the main one looks to be where it attaches to the intake. I believe these are two round seals that i can replace relatively easy but are there any other seals i can do 'while' I'm doing this from the top. I know that i can do the oil return line but then i need to do the oil pan, then i can do the....... you see what I mean when i say from the top down and relatively easy to do.
Thanks for all the help.

Are you saying you have a oil leak between the compressor outlet and the intake manifold? You should not have oil in there, maybe a slight film, but not enough for a significant leak. Your turbo's internal seals may have gone, or you may have a lot of oil mist from the breather on the valve cover due to high blow-by (the breather connects to the tubing between the air filter and the turbo on the CA cars and there is no oil separator). Find the source of the oil and stop it or you may have a runaway engine soon.
